Ruptured Pancreas

I first met Guy Savelli through Lenny Howie, my boyfriend.  He has been studying under Mr. Savelli for seven years.  We had driven to the Erie Kun-Tao school which is about fifty miles from our home in Jamestown, NY.  I saw him put out a candle as he sat a good ten feet away from it.  Then he spoke on taking pain away from people.  Lenny said he had seen Mr. Savelli do this, but I had my doubts.

About two months later, my pancreas was ruptured and I was hospitalized from August 18th to 23rd.  During that time I had sever back pain and morphine injection were given to me.  These relaxed me, but did not relieve my pain.  I felt better and was released.  A day at home and I felt the same as the day I was admitted to the hospital.  I saw my doctor every week for five weeks and got different prescriptions for pain.  The last one was fifty mg. Talwin every three to four hours.

After six weeks of constant pain, my doctor did not know what else to do for me.  I put in call to Mr. Savelli to see if he could help me.

Mr. Savelli made me an appointment at the school in Erie at noon on Saturday, September 27th.  When I arrived, I was in quite a bit of pain.  He sat down next to me and asked me where my pain was.  I told him it extended through my abdomen, chest, and back.  He held my hand and said he wanted to think about it for a while.  He told me pleasant things to think about and suggested an easier way for me to breathe.  We sat in silence for a few moments.  Also present was one of Master Savelli’s daughters and Lenny.

After a couple of minutes, he let loose my hand and told me he also felt his breathing strained and his voice became scratchy as my own was at that time.  All of a sudden, my chest became “lighter” as though Guy had taken the pressure from me and destroyed it.  It was easier for me to breathe.  He told me he would meet me at my home on September 30th, and we left.  It wasn’t until I got home over an hour later that I felt better.  I took a deep breath, which I had not been able to do since my accident.

I met with Guy on the 30th for the second time, as scheduled, and he saw that I had been doing much better in the three days since he’d seen me last.  During that time I had taken only one pain pill.  Today he worked with my pain more as to get me to the point of eventually having no pain at all.  Again, he took my hand, told me to use a drum foot pedal in my mind as a release of  my pain.  This time while he was holding my hand, it seemed as though warm water was being flushed through my system starting at my finger tips.  After a few moments of silence, we spoke.  I again had experienced more relief of my pain.  He said he would return on Tuesday, October 7th.  Present today were Lenny and Mike Kolson (another student of Guy’s).

On October 7th, Guy met with me again and asked what he could do for me.  I told him I had to take Donnatol to relax the pancreas so I could keep my meals down in my stomach.  If I don’t take these tablets before meals, I vomit and get pain in my chest and upper abdomen.  He said we would start out with jello with no tablet.  I was to try to this on my own very slowly.  And he would se me the following Tuesday.  He held my hand, we thought, sat in silence and he told me how he felt I should try to eat me jello.  Present today were Lenny, Mike, and Mr. And Mrs. Anderson, my employer and wife.

On October 9th, I tried to eat my jello without the Donnatol.  It resulted in chest and upper abdomen pain.  But every day, every meal, I would take my Donnatol, but pretend I didn’t.  On October 16th, I ran out of Donnatol, but pretended I still had them to take before meals.  This was learned from Mr. Savelli.  I have since been able to eat my meals without Donnatol.  At first it would sometimes result in vomiting.  I would block out my pain the way Guy taught me.  Every day, each meal, my pain gets less and less.  Today, October 21, I can honestly say I feel good and next to healthy.  I have increased my diet from low fat to small amounts of any food I desire.  I also fell much stronger.
I know and believe my recovery has been due to the tremendous help of Mr. Guy Savelli.
